| Dr. Jamil Lisan Hossain, Ph.D,
MBBS, RPSGT Managing Director
Dr. Hossain has been with the laboratory since its
inception in 2001. He oversees all essential parameters of care and responsible
for overall operation and management of the sleep laboratory. Dr. Hossain
received his Ph.D. degree in Sleep Medicine from the Institute of Medical
Sciences, University of Toronto in 2004. He also has a bachelor degree
in medical sciences and a board certification in polysomnographic technology.
He has over ten years of experience in technical, clinical and research
aspects of Sleep Medicine. His research interest encompasses sleep disorders,
shift-work, fatigue, sleepiness and circadian rhythm. He has a number
of publications in sleep medicine research, particularly in shift-work.
